ABOUT
The idea behind the bike is to integrate the strength of bamboo and steel to create an E-bike with raw and rugged expression. The details are exposed which gives it a raw expression. It was developed such that the back-wheel assembly can accommodate variation in bamboo sizes. The front wheel-steering assembly is attached to the bamboo using resin and aluminium sections. The battery and controller are housed in front of the bike in a bent steel sheet. The seat is made of foam. The bike was fabricated and successfully tested.
